Those include persons who, directly or indirectly, can be identified via identifiers such as a name, an identifying number, location data, an online identifier or one of several special characteristics, which expresses the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, commercial, cultural or social identity of these natural persons.
These also include information related to your way of using our web site. Relatedly, we collect your personal data as follows: Information about your visits on our web site such as the scope of data transfer, the location from which you retrieve our web site as well as other data records, files and other content that you retrieve. Purpose and affected personal data
Whether you visit our web site solely to retrieve publicly available data or whether you use services that extend beyond this, it determines the scope and nature of collecting, processing and using of your data.
a) Informational use
If you use our web site solely for informational purposes, it is categorically not necessary to provide your personal data.
Instead, when you visit our web site, we solely collect data that is transmitted to us via your web browser such as

Solely during your stay on our web site will your computer's IP address be saved in so-called logfiles and subsequently deleted promptly or anonymized in an abbrevation. The remaining data will be saved for a limited period of time. We process this data for the purposes of our web site, chiefly to detect and remove errors on the web site, to detect server capacity utilization and make adjustments or improvements.
b) Use and purchase of additional services
If you use additional services of our company via our web site, you are potentially required to provide personal data. Which personal data you are requred to provide in order to receive those services depends on the respective input mask.
Which details you additionally provide is optional. Obligatory details are tagged with an asterisk (*) while optional details are not.

On our website, we invite you to contact us via a contact form.

a) Use of cookies#

b) Use of Google Universal Analytics
This web site uses Google Universal Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Universal Analytics also uses "cookies", small text files that are saved to your computer and help to analyze your using the site. In general, the information stored via the cookie will be submitted to and stored at a Google server in the USA. In case this site anonymizes IP addresses, Google will abbreviate your IP address beforehand within the territory of EU member states and other EEC member states. Solely in exceptional cases, the full IP address will be submitted to a Google server and abbreviated, once there.

The IP address that Google Universal Analytics retrieves from your browser will not be added to other Google data. Please note that on this site, Google Universal Analytics was amplified by the code »gat._anonymizeIp();« to guarantee anonymous processing of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
c) Web analysis by Matomo (formerly PIWIK)
On our site, we use the open source software tool Matomo (formerly PIWIK) to analyze browsing activities of visitors. A cookie will be set on the visitor's computer (see details on cookies above). If details on our sites are retrieved, the following data will be stored:
- the site that is retrieved
- the site from which the visitor has clicked on the retrieved site
- the subpages that are clicked on from the retrieved site
- the duration of the stay on the site
- the frequency of clicks on this site
- 2 bytes of the IP address of the visitor's retrieved system
At all times, the software is operating solely on our site's server. Only there, the visitor's personal data will be stored. No data will be disclosed to third parties.
The software is programmed so as not to store the full IP adresses, instead, it blanks out 2 bytes of the IP address (for example: 192.168.xxx.xxx). Accordingly, no connection can be made between the abbreviated IP address and the computer.
7. Use of plugins of providers Google, Facebook and Twitter
a) Use of Facebook plugins
On our web sites, plugins of www.facebook.com, social networking service Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, are deployed. Plugins are identifiable as a Facebook logo or a Facebook button (for example "like" button) on our site.
By clicking on the Facebook "like" button, you are able to indicate that you like the site or specific content, and you can link this content to your Facebook profile. By doing so, data is directly transmitted from your browser to Facebook and stored, once there. If you are logged in to your Facebook account, Facebook is able to directly connect your using our site to your Facebook account. Even if you are not logged in or do not have a Facebook account, your browser will transmit data (for example the site you retrieved, your IP address) which Facebook stores.

By using Twitter and the feature "retweet", the sites you visit will be connected with your Twitter account and disclosed to other Twitter users. In doing so, data is being transmitted to Twitter. Please note that supervisory authorities have expressed concerns as to using Twitter with regard to data protection laws.
c) Use of Google+ plugins
On our web site, we use the "+1" button of social networking service Google Plus, operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). The button is identifiable as the logo "g+" on a white or chromatic background. By clicking on the button, you are able to globally publicize information in case you are a user of Google Plus.
Once you click on a web site containing such a button, your Browser automatically and directly connects to Google's servers. The content of the "+1" button will be directly forwarded from Google to your browser and from there, it will be integrated into the site. Being so, Senator has no control over the volume of data collected by Google. According to Google, no personal data is being collected without clicking on the button. Soley with members who are logged in, such data, including the IP address, will be collected and processed.

If you are a Google Plus member and you do not want Google to collect your data and connect it with your Google member details, it suffices to log out of your Google Plus account, as Google provides in the details above.
8. Non-disclosure of your personal data
We do not disclose your personal data to third parties, unless you approved of it, or as otherwise required by legal disclosure obligations under applicable law. This includes disclosing information to law enforcement authorities in order to ward off danger or for purposes of protecting intellectual property rights.
9. Data protection
Any data you forward to us will be stored on servers within EU territory. However, we protect our web site and other systems via technical and organizational means to prevent loss, destruction, access, changes or distribution of your data by unauthorized third parties. To do so, your data will be transmitted in code. We, in doing so, use the coding system TLS 1.2 (Transport Layer Security).

11. Erasure and closure of personal data once the purpose is fulfilled
We process and use your personal data for as long as it is needed, at its longest, however, as is required by legal storage periods.
After its purpose is fulfilled and the legal storage period has passed, personal data will be erased or closed as provided by data protection laws.
12. Right to complain
Notwithstanding any other legal remedy, you are entitled to submit a complaint to a supervisory authority, particularly in the member state of your location, your workplace or the place, where the violation allegedly occured, if you think that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.
